How much making experience do I need to take this mini masterclass?
You don't need a ton of DIYing experience to dive into this workshop, but you do need some. If you've taken my DIY Skincare for Beginners mini-course and made a couple lotions/creams, you're definitely ready for this mini masterclass :)
You should know how to:
- Use a scale to weigh out your ingredients
- Work in percentages
- Follow good manufacturing practices
If you've made some lotions and creams and would like to start making some positive changes to those formulations, this mini masterclass is perfect for you.
If you've already been formulating your own lotions and creams from the ground up for years and are excellent at troubleshooting challenges with your emulsions, this mini masterclass is probably too basic for you. -
Is this formulation all natural/vegan/palm free/etc.?
I'll be teaching you five formulation strategies; whether or not they're natural/vegan/palm free/etc. will depend on the ingredients you choose to use for your formulations.

Will this teach me how to make chemical free lotions and creams?
No; and that's simply because literally everything is chemicals. The water you drink, the air you breathe, and the food you eat are all made up entirely of chemicals. "Chemical" doesn't mean something is bad—it really just means it exists :)
