I have played with many formulations. However, I never completely understood the significance of what each ingredient brings to the table. Marie makes this fun and informative and talks in a way that Everyone gets a full understanding of what, and how to make this your own. The explanations and thorough dive into ingredients, simplifying them to everyone's level of understanding is priceless. The trouble shooting section really helps to show you how to fix any problem and formulate for particular hair types to make it perfect for anybody's individual hair type. I was so very impressed and am looking forward to Marie's next offering in the workshop area. Great Job Marie, I am so thankful for you, and I appreciate you more than you can know. The course went at such a perfect pace! I loved reading and seeing what happens when the same ingredients are used in many different ways. After doing this course I now fully understand exactly why formulas will fail if not done properly but now I know how to fix it! I loved seeing how many things you can make with simple and easy-to-find ingredients. I needed the basics of how and why percentages are important and this gave the best explanation for a beginner. I give this course a 10/10. I wish it had been around when I was a beginner - so many failures in my past would have been avoided. Some things I already did but now I know why I do them that way even better.

I don't have enough compliments to describe how great Marie's beginners course is. Not only will you learn to create some beautiful products, you will also learn to think about how and why you choose certain ingredients, and what steps to take. In other words: Marie teaches you to think about formulating natural cosmetics, and before you know it, you are formulating yourself. Even if this wasn't your intention, you just discover how fun it all is. Warning: it is addictive! The projects that Marie has selected are of excellent quality and very easy to realize. You don't have to buy tons of materials to make some fantastic products. I'd say, what are you waiting for? The course is free and for a small extra fee you can learn and realize a lot more, and there is a bonus waiting for you. By far the best beginners course I have ever seen!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course, particularly for its beginner-friendly approach. The provided information was instrumental in conveying that what we covered is merely the tip of the iceberg in terms of possibilities. The inclusion of shampoo recipes has elevated the course, providing a comprehensive and well-rounded learning experience. Having these recipes at hand establishes a solid foundation for experimentation, and I find that aspect truly valuable. The insightful commentary on individual products further contributed to my education, offering valuable insights into their properties. I appreciate the effort put into providing such a well-rounded and informative experience.

I love that I can trouble shoot my formulations with better understanding of too soft or hard coming from fatty ingredients versus watery ingredients. The pie charts and considerations for each of the formulations are really helpful as well. I’ve really enjoyed this workshop & to be able to rewatch the workshop & tweak formulations is such a splendid way to learn. Thank you so much for putting in a lot of effort into this. It really shows!

You are the one, many many years ago, that encouraged me to start learning more about formulations and techniques, I've been a formula Botanica students for quite a while now and I'm really happy with everything I've learned because of you and on your workshop. Thank you !

Marie did a smashing job of presenting shampoo bar formulating and all the important information needed, in a complete yet concise manner. This workshop and the cheat sheets included gave me the confidence to begin creating my very own formulations, and I would highly recommend it!
